Happy Thanksgiving! Today is so incredible because giving thanks is so powerful. I love that God made the world in such a way that we are able to experience joy and love. He could've made the world any way. I just saw an article from Harvard affirming the power of gratitude! (link at the bottom)
It's so cool to me that even secular sources identify the importance of thankfulness. Most people could tell you that they feel something happen when they talk about things they’re thankful for or love. That’s why so many people love listening to love songs. King David poured out his heart to the Lord in writing the Psalms. David did in Psalm 16:11 that, "You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore".
If we are looking for joy, we must enter the presence of the Lord. There is no other source of joy.

If we are looking for joy, we must enter the presence of the Lord. There is no other source of joy.
But how do we enter his presence?
Thankfully the Bible gives us the answer in Psalm 100:4 (read the rest it's really good)
"Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name."
"Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name."
So we enter the Lord's presence through first giving thanksgiving and then we enter His presence through praise. That’s so awesome!
I pray today that you and you family would be blessed with good food and good company. I pray that each and every conversation would be full of thanksgiving and praise for what the Lord has done this past year and what He will continue to do.
Thanks for your prayers and support as always. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
